1. Posting Rules

1.1 - Please be polite and courteous to all posters

This forum is for use by people from all cultures, many of whom may not be native English-speakers. When responding to posts by other members, please be mindful of this and treat all posters courteously.

1.2 - Please use proper language

When posting on our forums, please resist the practice of using texting or chat-like abbreviations. On a forum support an international community, this can be particularly confusing.

1.3 - This is an English-speaking forum

We understand that this forum supports an international membership, and we are happy to do so. However, this forum is presented in English only. We understand that all members may not be native English-speakers and we will make every effort to communicate in a manner that all will understand. For the benefit of all members, we ask that you limit your posts to English. If English is not your native language, please make your best attempt - we'll understand.

1.4 - No advertisements

This forum is to support our products. As such, we do not allow advertisments or spamming of any kind for any products or services. Any such posts will be promptly edited or removed.

1.5 - No objectionable contect

No vulgar or objectional content of any type is permitted. Please keep all discussions relevant to the subject matter of this forum.

1.6 - No 'Thread Hijacking'

Please do not 'hijack' or otherwise take over another members thread. All concerns are entitled to equal attention. If your comments are relative to the original poster's thread, please feel free to post; if not, please feel free to start a new thread.

1.7 - Please stay on topic

This is a Support Forum and not a chat room. Please keep all discussions relevant to the original posters issues.

2. Miscellaneous Rules

2.1 - User identify

Your identity on our forums is formed based on your username, past posts, an avatar, a signature etc. It is against the rules to manipulate any of these to mislead people as to your identity, such as choose a username or avatar that suggests you are a staff member or forum adming.

2.2 - Avatar

This forum allows members to use avatars to help identify themselves. The use of avatars follows the same rules as outlined above, in 1. Posting Rules, with particular emphasis on rules 1.4 and 1.5.

2.3 - Signature

This forum allows members to create signatures to be automatically attached to their posts. Signatures are limited to 5 lines, must use the standard size font (or smaller) and may include only text. Signatures may contain links, but must follow the same rules as outlined above, in 1. Posting Rules, with particular emphasis on rules 1.4 and 1.5.

2.4 - Private messaging (PM)

This forum allows you to send private messages to individual members. This allows you to communicate with a member one-to-one. PM posting follows the same guidelines as above (1. Posting Rules). If you are the recipient of a PM that breaks our guidelines, please forward a copy of the message via PM to the forum admin. Note that your PM box can only hold a limited number messages. Be sure to periodically clear out your inbox/sent folders to ensure PMs to you don't bounce.
